Altered Paint-By-Numbers.  I took a couple of old Paint-By-Numbers found in thrift stores and added some things to them.

Collage (From the French: coller, to glue) is a work of formal art, primarily in the visual arts, made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole.
Decoupage (or découpage) is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it.
Decoulpage (or découlpage) is the art of cutting up old LP sleeves and recreating classic record covers.

These collages of classic record covers are created using old vinyl album covers of not-so-classic records. I cut up the crappy old covers and reassemble the bits to replicate the original records that I love. A time-consuming process that seems totally worthwhile. I still haven’t figured out something creative to do with the actual records themselves yet.

Shadow Boxes. Using images from films and records I assembled these little shadow boxes.
